Civil Engineering
Design Alaska’s Civil/Environmental Engineering Departments are combined and led by Linda Taylor, PE, LEED-AP. Linda is supported by a staff of Engineers in Training as well as CAD and Environmental Technicians. The department is experienced in a variety of design specialties including site development, stormwater management design and in conjunction with construction, assisting contractors with LEED documentation, water and wastewater system design, Phase I/II environmental site assessments, NEPA Environmental Assessments, hazardous material sampling, PID soil sampling, transportation engineering, and completing permit requirements for regulatory agencies. The department is proud to note that when Design Alaska began 53 years ago, it was as a Civil Engineering & Survey consulting firm.
