Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering Department at Design Alaska is led by Elizabeth Johnston, PE and has two additional professional engineers and three engineers in training. The department has considerable design and construction administration experience for new construction and remodels of commercial, institutional, military, recreational, light industrial, and single family and multi-family residential facilities. This experience extends to all phases of electrical systems design including high voltage and low voltage distribution systems, building interior and exterior lighting systems, building interior power distribution systems, fire alarm and security systems, telephone, intercom and TV systems and building automation and computer systems.
