We are very pleased to announce that Design Alaska was recently selected to be the designer of record for the 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron’s (ASOS) new facility at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. This long awaited facility will move the ASOS unit out of 1950’s vintage building into a modern facility that is designed around their unique mission. The project is a fast-track, design-build project that begins in March 2010 and will end in October 2011. The design-build team is comprised of CH2M Hill Constructors Inc., Design Alaska, and other key subcontractors. The project is provided under contract with the Alaska District of the US Army Corps of Engineers.
