The Electrical Engineering Department at Design Alaska is staffed by professional engineers and engineers-in-training with extensive design and construction administration experience. The team delivers electrical engineering for both new construction and remodels of commercial, institutional, military, recreational, light industrial, and single-family and multi-family residential facilities. Their expertise spans all phases of electrical systems design, including high-voltage and low-voltage power distribution, interior and exterior lighting, fire alarm and security systems, telecommunications, and building automation. The department also has experience integrating renewable energy systems, backup power, and energy-efficient lighting technologies to meet sustainability and resiliency goals. Working closely with other disciplines, the electrical team ensures coordinated design and smooth project delivery from concept through construction.
