Land Surveying

The Land Surveying Department offers a full range of surveying services, including cadastral, control, topographic, construction, subdivision, as-builts, and engineering surveys. With extensive experience throughout Alaska, the team has successfully served a diverse client base, including federal, state, and city entities. The team is accustomed to meeting tight deadlines and working within rigid project specifications.



Our project experience includes topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys for new power line corridors, hospitals, remote village surveys, power plants, airports, and mining facilities. The department has provided surveying, mapping, construction staking, and easement documentation for the design and installation of public water, sewer, gas, and steam utilities. The team has extensive experience working at military installations throughout the state and is familiar with operations within the flight lines and taxiways of military and international airports. The department is also community minded, regularly providing mortgage loan inspection surveys (plot plans) and Flood Elevation Certificates for residential properties. Each year, the team designs and records several subdivisions and is well-versed in working within Borough and State platting regulations
