As a company committed to purposeful and innovative design, we are seeking talented Mechanical Engineering Graduates to join our team and help shape a sustainable, inclusive, and connected future.

Mechanical EIT duties typically include: 

  • Assist in designing sustainable, innovative mechanical systems that function efficiently in cold climates.
  • Develop 3D building models using the latest BIM technology.
  • Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team on impactful projects.
  • Lead and be accountable for system design and performance.

Design Alaska seeks these desirable attributes in Mechanical EIT applicants: 

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Actively pursuing or intending to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Alaska.
  • Demonstrate a high-level understanding of mechanical system concepts.
  • A passion for community-focused work and sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise and leadership in design.
